Home Visits

Most conditions are best seen at the surgery and we normally visit only the housebound and terminally ill.

Please do not ask for a home visit if you are physically able to get to the surgery.

Children with temperatures and rashes are also better seen at the surgery. Arrangements can be made to isolate infectious children.

If you still require a home visit, please telephone as early as possible as this helps the doctors plan their visiting.

In one hour a doctor is able to see 8 patients at the surgery, but is only able to make 2 or 3 home visits.
