Information Regarding Strep-A

We have seen a huge increase in worried parents calling the Surgery, accessing 111 and emergency departments. This is understandable given the circumstances, and we want to ensure that you our patients have the correct information as soon as possible, provided by trusted voices, to allay fears but also to explain what to do if you are concerned. The below links are a good source of information which may help answer questions from parents. Most strep A infections are mild and easily treated, but some are more serious. Visit the NHS website to learn more about symptoms to look out for, when to seek medical help and what to do in an emergency;

Anyone using a service should be able to give feedback to the provider of that service. The NHS FFT is designed to be a quick and simple mechanism for patients and other people who use NHS services to give feedback, which can then be used to identify what is working well and to improve the quality of any aspect of patient experience.

Please use this link if you wish to provide feedback on a recent appointment or interaction with the Surgery; https://forms.office.com/r/BdiYLbYWux.

Your feedback will be anonymous and will help us to review our service.

Your feedback helps make care better

CQC use what people tell them to understand the quality of care they get from services like care homes, care agencies, hospitals and GPs. It helps make care better for everybody.

It is looked at alongside other information. For example, information from the service itself or what CQC found when they last visited.
