Test Results

Please ask the nurse/doctor who requests your test, when the result is expected.

Results are usually available 1-5 days after a blood test and 2 weeks after an X-ray.

Usually the doctor will have asked you to make an appointment to discuss these results. If you are unsure about this, or have been asked to telephone instead, then speak to the receptionist. She will usually be able to read out any message left on the result by the doctor concerned.

Please note that the receptionist is usually unable to give out the actual results themselves.
