Travel Vaccinations

The Practice offers advice and inoculations for travel abroad. Most of the inoculations are free on the NHS. We do charge, however, for inoculations not available on the NHS. Many people are taking long-haul holidays requiring complicated courses of vaccines - to assist you in these requirements we stock a large amount of travel related health promotion material.

Please contact the surgery and leave details of your destination etc at least 8 weeks prior to your departure and a Practice Nurse will call you back.

Alternatively, a travel form can be downloaded here.

Please complete the form and either bring it into the surgery or post it to us. We will then be able to assess your travel requirements within 48 hours of receiving the form.

You can then contact the surgery to arrange an appointment with the Practice Nurse for further travel advice/immunisations.

Most vaccines are not fully effective for at least 10 days. Some need more than one dose and take much longer to become fully effective.
